I think you did a GREAT job rendering that big ol' ham! And a great job rendering El's 6 chins!
And my screen brightness was down pretty low when I read this and I was having a LOT of trouble NOT reading that cookbook cover as "Gourmet For Merp?" and I have no idea what a merp is but that just tickles me for some reason.

I think the distinction in the hams is perfect. I, for one, HATE when my dishes come out looking porrly drawn. The best food has fine lines and slight gradients!
